INDO-SKYTHIANS, Western Satraps. Rudrasimha III, 385-415. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.09 g, 6 h), c.a. SE (Saka Era) 307-337 = AD 385-415). Crowned head of Rudrasimha III to right, wearing satrapal cap, moustache and earring; behind, date in Brahmi numerals out of flan. Rev. RaJna MaHaKsaTraPaSa SvaMi SaTyaSiHaPuTraSa RaJna MaHaKsaTraPaSa SvaMi RuDraSiHaSa ('Of Raja Mahaksatrapa Lord Rudrasimha, son of Raja Mahaksatrapa Lord Satyasimha' in Brahmi) Three-arched hill; above crescent, to left, crescent above crescent; to right, three pellets; below, river. Fishman 38.2. Nicely toned. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
